The Kings School -Nairobi is a Christian based school in Nairobi. It is a school that is set apart from the rest because of several reasons, chief amongst all being it’s strong emphasis on centering itself on Christ as its foundation.
It is a place where everyone has a sense of belonging, purpose and a desire for the vision of the school to be fulfilled.
The learner being at the heart of our school’s vision, we have always endeavored to make learning meaningful for them in all aspects thus creating an unforgettable educational experience in them. This consequentially gets to be visibly imprinted in their lives afterwards, positively impacting them and the world within their sphere.

Greetings and a very warm welcome.
At The King’s School Nairobi, we learn together to achieve success for all, based on our motto, “Committed to Excellence.” We nurture the growth of the whole child- academically, socially, emotionally, morally and physically-celebrating all achievement in a safe, caring and creative environment. We work together as a team to bring learning and extend pupils’ learning experiences so that they are well prepared for the next steps in their education.
We believe a happy child will be a successful child and work to ensure every child enjoys school and achieves success. We do this by providing the best teaching and learning experiences that we can through an exciting and engaging curriculum.
With our dedicated team of teachers, support staff and parents, we work hard to ensure full support to our learners. We welcome parents involvement in their children’s education and in the life of our school. We ask their opinion on a regular basis, as well as inviting them to school as much as possible. We encourage them to partner with us in their children’s academic journey.
We firmly believe that discipline precedes success and other achievements in life. Therefore, discipline is paramount in a learner’s academic journey. The role of a teacher, similar to that of a skilled midwife, is crucial for academic excellence. Recognizing the significant academic responsibilities, we are committed to quality assurance, working with the team to ensure our educational programs align with our transformative mission.
Guiding and mentoring colleagues and learners are central at The King’s School, contributing to overall success. In line with the school’s vision, we actively participate in both academic and extracurricular activities, enriching the educational experience.
Additionally, we assess and monitor academic quality, ensuring it aligns with transformative goals. My responsibility includes filtering assessment tools based on competency, ensuring an accurate measure of students’ capabilities. As a teacher at The King’s School – Nairobi, my role is to facilitate a transformative journey, cultivating a community of learners ready to make a positive impact in the society.
